The Malaysian minister dissolved the parliament. Malaysian Prime Minister Ismail Sabri Yaqub dissolved Parliament on Monday. Ismail Sabri Yaqub said during his speech on television that the date of the elections will be announced by the Election Commission. And that elections should be held within 60 days of the dissolution of Parliament. According to foreign media, Malaysia is due to hold elections in September 2023, but Ismail Sabri is under intense pressure from some parties in his ruling coalition for a strong mandate due to infighting within the coalition.
